In the autumn of 2002 some media studies students asked if they could make a film about me for their final project. I of course agreed (I always wanted to be he a film star). We had a lot of fun making this film. One day we went out filming at Stonehenge and Avebury these are both wonderful places to visit. I have for some years regularly visited Stonehenge for the summer solstice festival and to me is a place of spiritual significance. On another day we visited the Science Museum in London this is a place I had visited frequently in my childhood and a fascinating place for anybody like myself who has an interest in science and engineering. I was most intrigued by a whole exhibit about gender and transsexualality. They conducted interviews with my brother and several of my close friends as well as arranging to go to Charing Cross Hospital and filmed and gender reassignment operation as it was done (the squeamish among you maybe relieved that there is only a few seconds of this in the final film). The result is a fascinating little film off some 12 minutes long it gives some insight Into why, how and who I am and I hope very much you find it interesting.
